Where does the time go? I can’t believe it, but the last time I posted a blog was August 21, 2015. I was training to hike Half Dome in Yosemite National Park and was sharing my training with you. “Life” put blogging on the back burner. Yes, for those of you that may not know, I “did” make it to Yosemite. I “did” hike up to the base of Half Dome, but I did not summit. Fatigue, dehydration and inexperience were my foes. I came down the mountain, back to work and was immediately swept up in helping my employer of almost 33 years close his medical practice. I retired from full time employment on October 1, 2015 and have been enjoying this new phase of life. But . . . I have not been blogging.
To catch up on Half Dome and Yosemite, here are the photos I posted on Facebook:

My next adventure is going to be walking “The Camino de Santiago” – a 500-mile Christian pilgrimage in Northern Spain. I will be leaving San Diego mid-April and will be using this blog to share my experience with you.
Until then, I will probably be talking about my excitement in preparing and training for this wonderful and exciting opportunity. Feel free to ask me any questions if this is your first exposure to “The Way of St. James” also known as “El Camino de Santiago.”
